Photographers

Troy Paiva – Lost America
Troy’s preferred motives are nightly junkyards and abandoned places, which he illuminates with artificial light sources. The effect is stunning, a must-see.

Kevin Bates Photography
Kevin’s main focus is on birds – both feathered and metal ones. No matter which motive you prefer, his work is masterful on all fields. 35 years of experience speak for themselves.

JeffSFO Photography
Jeff is a fellow member of netAirspace.com from San Francisco. His preferred motives are quite similar to mine – aviation, nature, landscape, night shots. I enjoy the conversations with him as much as his photos, and really admire his talent to always find the best possible angle for his motives.

Alex Feldstein
I met Alex while spotting in Miami. He has a lot of experience, and his portfolio is amazing.

Ben Cooper – Launch Photography
Ben takes most amazing pictures of Space Shuttle launches.

Claes Axstål
Claes brings a whole photo studio to the skies, resulting in breathtaking air-to-air photos.

Paul Bowen – Air to Air
More amazing air-to-air photos.

Sam Chui
One of the best-known names in aviation photography. Sam is also famous for his air-to-air shots around major international airports like LAX.

Aviation

netAirspace
A new project that was recently started by several members (including myself) of other air and space websites. Right now, we have a very active forum set up on this server. You can find us under above link. The website and photo database are currently being developed, and soon, the project will move to its own server.

Aviation Community Norddeutschland
This German forum’s community focuses mostly on northern German airports, especially Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel (HAM) and Finkenwerder (XFW).

Jetphotos.net
JetPhotos currently features the world’s biggest aviation photo database. (Link to my pictures)

Airliners.net
For a long time, ‘a.net’ was the undisputed #1 of all aviation-related websites. However, the site has seen some rough times over the past months, and it seems as if its popularity is fading a little. (Link to my pictures)

Blogs

EDDH Airport
Timo’s blog about Hamburg’s Airport. Interesting news and photos of current movements can be found here.

Beercraft
An American blog focusing on – surprise – beer, both local (Rochester, NY) and international ones. Definitely worth a read, as Mark sure knows what he is talking about (I had the privilege of having a few with him).

Chicken Wings Comics
Aviation-themed blog with hilarious comic strips by Michael and Stefan Strasser.

    Hello Stefan:
The Safety Department at Qatar Amiri Flight puts together an in-house safety magazine a couple of times per year. I am always looking for some interesting photos of our aircraft in different parts of the world to add a bit of color and itnerest to the magazine. Do you have some photos we could use and please advise the conditions of your copyright/royalty payments.
    Many thanks,
    Capt Lindsay Fenwick.
ps We typically produce 100 copies of our magazine.
