My editing backlog is growing and growing – I still haven’t edited a fragment of my Florida shots from March. Somehow, I feel more like travelling these days, and not like editing shots. But I will see to post some more soon.

Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel (HAM / EDDH). 09 April 2010.
Antonov Design Bureau, Antonov An-225 Mriya, UR-82060.
A spotter’s dream come true – caught the Mriya. Granted, a bit of sunshine would have been nice – like 5 minutes before, and 1 minute after the landing.
Anyway, just seeing this awesome aircraft was a fantastic experience – goosebumps all over. And maybe I’ll catch her in the sunlight when she’ll leave Hamburg tomorrow.
More updates to follow soon – I have tons of new photos, from sunny and snowy days in Hamburg, and sunny and warm days in Miami. Stay tuned!

Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel, Germany. February 2010.
AeroVis Airlines, Antonov An-12BP, UR-CEZ.
First sunshine in weeks, came out just in time for the arrival of this beauty. The reflections from the still snow-covered ground made the light perfect.

Iran Air, Boeing 747SP-86, EP-IAD.
Spotting at -12°C. It was freezing cold, but it was definitely worth it. EP-IAD seen here on short final, photos taken from Nordport-Bogen.

For so long , I had dreamed about getting the Antonov. And there it is. At the right time, right place, right light. Got it. Yes. Strike!
And now I feel like a child in the night after Christmas. Sure, I got what I wanted – but now that I have it, there is a certain emptyness inside…
Anyway, hope you like the shot.
