Berlin, Germany. October 2009.
Night view of the Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom), with the television tower at the Alexanderplatz in the background.
Despite of commonly being referred to as Cathedral (or ‘Dom’ in German), it is actually a Protestant church, that has never been the seat of a Catholic bishop. It was built between 1894 and 1905 after plans of Julius Raschdorff.
